Wife and I both have one, my street glide fitted perfectly strait up but my wife's x500 did not, correspondence was excellent and replacement sent out, another perfect fit. We have had a lot of admirers asking about them, we love them, so comfortable, can feel the cool air flowing through the fabric.
Highly recommend, do yourselves a solid favour.
Also got the padded bike shorts, I nicknamed them pullups😅 honestly perfect combo.
I was a bit skeptical at first as it didn't look right for the seat but when I fitted it up looked pretty good. The cover has even settled better into the shape of the seat with a couple of rides, doesn't move around, is alot cooler and comfortable. I live in north Queensland Australia where the weather can be hot, humid and wet so this makes riding the bike way better. Get yourself one.
Wrote 100 miles yesterday, no swamp ass. It’s been great. I’m telling other people who ride with they should get one. I had a friend help me put it on and his wife sit on the seat so we make sure we have the correct spot for the back rest, so far I’m liking it
Haven't really had the seat cover long enough to make a real evaluation but I can tell a difference. I also wasn't real keen on cutting the new cover to fit over my seat backrest but, I followed the company's intructions and got it aligned for now. After a couple of hundred miles, I'll be in a better position to give a better review. For now, I can recommend the seat cover for a good fit, a noticable difference in the feel of the seat and the appearance on the motorcycle.
2018 KLR 650 -Yes, this will sound to good to believe but hopefully the detail will help. I paid retail price and am not compensated for writing this. I was skeptical, but turns out it's a good product.
Ordering and shipment was smooth. I ordered cover, got confirmation email and several updating status. It took about 1.5 weeks. I think it gets drop shipped from China to a local distributor who handles last mile. No additional tarriffs, but the last notification was from someone I didn't recognize. Nonetheless, a painless process.
Installation is straight forward. Couple of velcro straps and an elastic one. Stretch the cover over the seat, tighten straps. I left it out in the sun a bit to soften up, one final stretch and reinstalled the seat. There's a spot near the front where the cover doesn't fit flush against the seat, but with use, it's relaxing. You can see it in the photo. Doesn't interfere with use, doesn't look bunched up.
Use - since install, I've ridden sorry local rides and I'm currently 1700 miles into a BDR that has included WA, OR, CA, and gone through Yosemite and Death Valley. Cover hasn't loosened or shifted with hard miles of sitting and standing. Prior to install I rode a 90 degree day in WA and was squirming all over the seat. Death Valley was 106 for two days, radically better.
Cons - the only two nitpics I could say is that it's slick. I used to put camera cases on my seat when I was working, they slide off more if I'm not careful. The other is that sometimes it's too cool. Riding on cool mornings, it almost feels like I've spilled water in my crouch. Took a few times to realize it's just airflow.
Saw this on an ad and was hesitant but purchased in hopes it would be good. I watch a YouTuber Twowheelsbackroads and he swore by how great it was so I put it on and he was right. The seat cover looks better than I thought and it adds a little more cushion and that is what a rider needs. So glad I made the purchase and can't wait to put more miles on my bike and the seat. Thank You.
Seat cover fits front to back. Doesn't pull down and tuck under the sides of seat, it's not w9de enough. The cover doesn't contour to the seats surface but stretches suspended above the seat. See pictures. This is for a Suzuki DR650. Really wanted to like this, but it's really only an eye sore and inconvenience. Will likely return it.
It doesn't fit, two piece shaped seats, one piece cover with no shape to it. Wrong in so many ways. Seat is two levels with step and two separate pieces. How was this ever supposed to fit or work
The very first ride made me a fan. I could feel air between my bottom and the seat! It also provides just the right amount of traction to stay put on the seat, but not so much that the texture is irritating. The fit for my 2006 Bonneville is perfect.
You never really know when you order online....but the fit is magnificent....its only been on a day....but somehow the seat seemed warmer on the chilly morning...cant wait to get the airflow on a decent road trip and test its dryness when the bike gets wet! I am super happy...its so comfortable
The main seat cover doesn't fit properly on the back of the seat, creating a "bubble"at the back of the seat,as seen in the photo. Ive got it on the bike and seeing if it can flatten out.
This seat is MAGIC! I can’t believe how well it works. I was hoping it would allow my husband to ride a little cooler in the hot weather but it’s actually like an under seat AC unit. I told him it needs to come off in the fall or we will be too cold!
I put this Wind Rider seat cover on my 2026 Suzuki V Strom, 800 DE adventure motorcycle and it made such a big improvement in regards to airflow between me and the seat as well as the comfort comfort.

How do I know it'll fit my exact year, make, and model?
Every cover is cut for one specific bike. Choose your year, make, and model in the dropdown above. The pattern matches the OEM seat profile so the cover sits flush on the seat instead of stretching over a generic shape. If your bike is not listed in the dropdown, contact us before you order and we will work with you to make one.
What's the install process? Do I need any tools?
Velcro straps loop under the seat and fasten back to themselves. About 5 minutes start to finish. No tools, no drilling, nothing permanent to the bike. If you pull the cover off later, the OEM seat underneath is exactly as it was.
Can I return it if it doesn't fit or I don't like it?
Yes. 30 day guarantee. If the cover does not fit your bike or you do not like it on the bike, send it back within 30 days for a full refund.
Does it cover cracked or damaged OEM vinyl?
Yes. The cover sits flush over the existing seat surface and hides cracks, sun fading, and small tears. The mesh and vinyl layer on top also protects the foam underneath from new sun and water damage, so the seat does not keep getting worse.
Does the cover hold up in rain or after a wash?
Yes. The mesh drains water through to the seat shell underneath. After a rainstorm or a wash, the surface air dries in minutes. You can machine wash it, rinse with a garden hose, or pressure wash on a low setting. Then ride.
How do I clean it after a dusty ride?
Rinse with a garden hose or wipe with a damp cloth. Air dry. No special cleaner needed. Dust passes through the open mesh structure instead of caking into it, so the cover does not collect grime the way a flat pad would.
Does it work for both rider AND passenger?
Depends on the bike. Touring bikes with a split rider and passenger seat usually have separate covers available, and you can order one or both. Single seat configurations and most cruiser solo setups cover the rider position by default. The product page lists the exact options for your year and model.
How long does it last with daily use?
The mesh is a high tensile polyester woven to hold its raised structure under repeated load. With daily riding it stays springy and intact for years. The vinyl edges and velcro straps are built to outlast the mesh, so the whole cover ages as one unit. No special storage needed. Leave it on the bike year round.
